2006-07-22 [Perplexity]: Keep in mind when making any suggestions, that you have a week to draw these things! So, we would like some challeging ones for sure, but it should be a mix of difficulty levels - which will you get? all determined by a roll of the dice.

2006-07-22 [Evilmonk]: Now keep in mind, all, that technique is judged yes, but imagination is as well. And thats a big thing! Just being a solid penciler will not win you shit, if you lack creativity, you know? Judges will be advised to really look at the purpose behind a drawing and how well the catagory is drawn out. Being good is one thing, but our creativness should know NO bounds. The winner is going to be the one who goes all out on everything. You will NEVER lose, if you do your best. Here it is from my point of view. Losing might upset me a little, BUT I will be forced to look at WHY I lost. Analyze what I did that cost me and learn from it. It's not life or death at the end of the day folks. =) Its just a little competition between friends, and a tool to be used to help you along. Like the DA but pitted against one another, is all. The reality is that this is a place to learn,...not fight.

It's tough, yes....it's going to be hard and everyone wants to win, but what is the prize? Nothing Material, nothing you can take home. Knowledge, and the respect of your peers. Well, I think we all respect one another already, so even if you WIN IT ALL, all you win is knowledge. And someone else will be waiting next month to take what you have. The challenge never ends!
